Walking through the North Loop.

Sorry for the delayed post…I’ve been a little under the weather. Hopefully upcoming posts will be more frequent and consistent!

There’s obviously beautiful weather…the parking lot was empty – downtown in the middle of the work day. PayBox is definitely not getting much use today.

We decided to take a short walk downtown to watch the parade. It was so great to see how many people came out for it!

Originally a post office more than 100 years ago, something about this building draws me in today. I think I could take pictures, draw it or just stare at it for hours.

While taking a walk on a gorgeous afternoon I found a gentle reminder. Smile!

Walking around downtown I found it interesting – the contrast between the outdated massive apartment complexes and the newer, sleeker condos only a block away.

While the cherry is MIA, I decided to snap a shot of the naked spoon…after all, it’s “covered” about 99% of the time.
